OUR MISSION
Trailblazing Hope Outdoors exists to provide youth a modality of healing through outdoor recreation opportunities.
Our purpose is to empower youth through access to the restorative beauty and challenge of nature while fostering their physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual development. We are committed to creating an environment where participants develop a love and appreciation of themselves, others, and the natural world around them.
Ultimately, it is our vision that we create life long lovers of the outdoors.

OUR DNA
Trailblazing Hope Outdoors is awesome and this is what sets us apart:
01. INCLUSIVE – OUR VALUES
Trailblazing Hope is inclusive. We want anybody and everybody to take part. |
02. FUN – OUR CULTURE
Your safety is our priority, but fun is a close second. We’ll balance these two by ensuring each participant has a clear understanding of how to engage with nature in a way that protects every person and the environment. |
03. INTEGRITY – OUR CHARACTER
We do what we say, and we say what we do. You can count on us for transparency in how we run our organization, from top to bottom. |
04. FAMILY – OUR COMMUNITY
We’re big into families and creating a community that extends past our organization. We want our programs to be the start of lifelong relationships and a deeper sense of meaning and hope that echoes through the rest of your life. We don’t facilitate programs; we build family. |
“I go to nature to be soothed, healed
and have my senses put in order”
— John Burroughs

LEAVE NO TRACE
This organization accomplishes its mission by providing innovative education, skills and research to help people care for the outdoors. The first step is for awareness of self, others, and the environment. |
