OUTDOOR PROGRAMS
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS, PROGRAMS, AND ORGANIZATIONS SPECIALIZING IN YOUTH OUTREACH
The primary objectives of Trailblazing Hope Outdoors are Recreation, Education, and Conservation. These objectives are met through participation in the Outdoor Programs (OP) and the Adventure Experiences (AE).
The Outdoor Programs consist of four 4-week foundational programs held throughout the year and introduce middle and high school students to nature while experiencing fresh air, physical activity, hands on learning, new friendships, and memorable outdoor experiences. The four programs are The Basics, Camping Essentials, Our Planet, and The Backcountry. Each four-week program consists of four courses that provide instruction and practical application of the programs’ theme. The participants may begin with any program and are encouraged to complete consecutively, but not required to. |
